Eligibility Criteria:

·       Applicants must be Thai or international students enrolling in a doctoral or master’s program at Prince of Songkla University in the academic year 2025 with a thesis or dissertation plan.

·       International applicants must reside on campus and attend classes full-time in order to be eligible for scholarships and conduct their research data collection within Thailand only.\

·       Applicants must not receive any other scholarships that cover tuition fees and/or provide a monthly expense. If found otherwise, the full scholarship amount must be refunded.

·       Applicants must have a GPA of at least 3.00 or an academic performance of at least 75% and be able to conduct full-time research until graduation.

·        Additional qualifications are subject to the discretion of the Dean of the Graduate School.

Required Documents

• Scholarship application form

 • A brief research proposal in A4 not over 10 pages

 • English language proficiency test scores (PSU-TEP, CU-TEP, TOEFL, TOEFL-ITP, IELTS)

• Research works and publications (if any)

Duration of the Scholarship

·        For Doctoral Students:

- 3 academic years for Master’s Degree-based

- 4 academic years for Doctoral Degree-based

·        For Master's Students:

- 2 academic years

. Scholarship Support: These expenses cover the entire scholarship period as follows:

·        Monthly expenses as a lump sum payment.

- Doctoral Degree Level : 12,000 THB/month

- Master's Degree level : 8,500 THB/month

·        Tuition fees waiver

Scholarship Conditions

·        • The grantee must pass the English language requirement as per the graduation criteria of the Graduate School and/or the program requirements (PSU-TEP, CU-TEP, TOEFL, IELTS) by November 30, 2025.

·        The grantee must submit the progress report and study results every 6 months using the

provided format form within the specified deadline, 2 times in each academic year.

·        The grantee must have publications in reputable international peer-reviewed journals

·        The grantee who are employed and receiving a salary during their studies will not be eligible for the living allowance portion of the scholarship.

·        The grantee shall state in the publication acknowledgement section of the thesis that thestudy is funded by “the PSU-Graduate Studies Scholarship .

·        The grantee must submit reprints of their international journals

If applicants fail to check the announcement or do not attend the interview at the scheduled date

and time, they will be considered to have forfeited their eligibility without any right of appeal.
